Packing

Sometimes it is better to leave packing to the experts. Our team can skillfully pack and itemize your possessions ready for relocation, or for storage. Whether you are moving house or an office, you can rely on Green Man and Van to carefully and diligently handle this stage of the process.  

Recycled Boxes

Using recycled boxes and minimizing waste, they will be sure to maximize the space in each box, container, and vehicle involved. No plastics or fossil fuel packaging like bubble wrap are used, only recycled boxes and high-strength paper tape.  We encourage our customers to begin the packing process well in advance. However, when time is short, we also advise our customers to delegate to the Green Men for the complete professional package.

Specialist Equipment

Our brand new all-electric Luton Van navigates the London streets keeping carbon emissions low and setting a new standard in sustainability within the removals and storage trade.  Our team of surveyors drives electric electric vehicles to perform their bespoke survey for your removal and storage needs. It is easy to underestimate how much vehicle space and storage space you will need for your move, so we mitigate this by having a thorough survey at the outset. This way, we supply our customers with accurate quotes and a solid foundation to budget with.  With 500 cubic foot capacity in the Luton Van, if you are moving from a 2–3-bedroom house it is possible to move in one trip.  Our surveyors will be able to assess your needs accurately and create a moving plan for you. 

Environmental Disposal

Green Man and Van was set up in 2009 and since then we have been developing our recycled packaging and encouraging our customers to recycle where possible.   Time is of the essence when you are repurposing furniture and recycling materials, and we always advise our customers to consciously declutter before a move.  However, if you need us to remove large items for you and take them to the local recycling and waste centre, we can provide this service for you as part of your removal package.
